Gil Priel
Chief Executive Officer | Co-Founder
Mr. Priel began his 30-year real estate career in investments and development by privately funding a group of commercial and real estate acquisitions in the Los Angeles area. In 1980, Priel was appointed Vice President of Gor Construction and Development. Ten years later, Priel joined forces with Eli Tene to build a platform of companies known as the Corporate Network Platform which is a one-stop-shop a full spectrum of real estate services. Priel received his B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Northridge and holds a Law degree from Southwestern University School of Law.
Eli Tene
Sr. Executive Vice President | Co-Founder
Mr. Tene is specialized in commercial joint ventures, foreclosures, residential and commercial real estate, financing, loss mitigation and the upgrading of distressed properties. Throughout his varied career, Tene has been highly specialized with regard to REOs, as well as residential and commercial investments. Tene received his education at California State University, Northridge.
Scott Sawyer
SVP | Servicing Operations
Mr. Sawyer has an extensive background in Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, REO, Bankruptcy, Escrow Analysis, Investor Reporting, Due Diligence and more. He has 14 years of default mortgage experience, starting out in collections for Great Western Bank. He then joined California Federal Bank’s Loss Mitigation department in 1997, which through several mergers combined forces with Citigroup (CitiMortgage) the countries largest financial institution being responsible for their Loss Mitigation department and their payment processing division. Scott has worked closely with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and private investors over the years, and leads into him to his current position with BLC Servicing since 2006. Sawyer is well-versed in the mortgage loan servicing industry, and has previously been a speaker for the UTA (United Trustee’s Association) and a former panelist for the USFN default seminar and a REOMAC member.
Gary Putnam
SVP | Compliance & Business Development
Mr. Putnam is a financial and legal expert specializing in business unit creation and management; strategic planning and implementation; and legal and financial structuring. Prior to BLC Servicing, Mr. Putnam has spent more than 35 years in the financial industry as senior vice president, compliance at Quality Home Loans, president and chairman of the board of West Coast Bancorp, executive vice president of Far West Federal Bank and senior vice president, secretary and general counsel at The Oregon Bank.
